四等英文第49題
"Biker   Babes   from   Hell"   is   most   probably
A)   an   action   movie
B)   a   scary   film
C)   a   romance   story
D)   a   historical   play
答案是A
請問B為什麼不行呢？
因為是閱讀測驗
文中有提到女主角因為拍片騎摩托車受傷
可是片名不是"地獄來的"什麼嗎？
請幫忙解惑一下

回覆	畢業生在8/1/2007 8:16:32 AM的回覆：只是考共同科目四等英文或初等英文應該是不用特別準備英文文法只是要有一定的單字量要猜答案或從題目找答案時較為容易像我看不太懂文章內容針對開版的問題也只是從題目找答題線索有關單字量初等3000 四等5000 三等7000 另外對句子中, 只要會簡易判斷 sv svc svo svoo svoc 五種句型的位置即可個人淺見

This may be a cultural problem, not just linguistic. In the U.S., many movies were made from the late 1950's to the early 1970's about gangs of motorcycle riders who would drag race down highways, "invade" small towns, and create all sorts of havoc for the innocent townspeople. Finally the police would step in and take care of those bad guys. These movies always contained lots of action, meaning fast racing motorcycles, bikers performing dangerous stunts on the bikes (motorcycles), fights in which people would get hurt, etc. This genre of film is referred to as "action movies."
Scary films are horror movies, with things like ghosts and other supernatural phenomena, or the possibility of grotesque murders. Bikers are people who ride on motorcycles, as you no doubt know, “Babes” is a slang word for a woman, and “Biker Babes” are not delicate; they’re tough. “From Hell” could be a scary film, I agree, but it can also describe these biker babes as very difficult and maybe dishonest people. A film about bikers would probably be an action film, although we really don’t know.
